PROGRAMME
Learning, Employment and Progression (LEAP)
Building skills. Exploring possibilities. Taking the next step.
Learning can open doors to new skills, greater confidence, further education, work experience, employment and greater independence.
At Cumas, Learning, Employment & Progression brings together training, social enterprise and employment opportunities, creating practical pathways for individuals to discover their strengths, develop new skills and explore where those skills might take them.
How it Works
From accredited and skills-based learning to hands-on experience through Cumas Design, work experience and individual employment pathways, the focus is on learning by doing and progression with purpose.
Each pathway is shaped around the individual — their interests, strengths, choices and ambitions. For some, the next step may be a new qualification or skill. For others, it may be work experience, further learning, greater independence or moving towards employment.
Progress looks different for everyone. What matters is having the opportunity to keep moving forward.
